Week 13 picks

The picks this week is brought to you by Eddie's little brother, Øivind, back in Norway. Eddie is out of town, he is in Vermont and he hasn't got any internet there, so we're talking over the phone as he gives me this weeks picks. Moss with 125 yards and 3 TDs on the day, Matt Cassel having his second straight 400+, 3 TD game, and he also ran for a score. Green-Ellis just ran one in on fourth and goal from the 1, inside the 2-minute warning, so this game is over. Good to get a divisional win.

Kevin Faulk, on a 21 yard scamper to end the quarter, give the Pats a 31-21 lead. Good drive by Cassel, although he missed a screen to Moss. Fourth quarter coming up.

Randy just scored his second of the game, looked like a seven yard fade to the back of the end zone. Pats back in front, 24-21.

Miami just took the lead on a pass from Pennington to Cramer. His first ever. They should have covered him better, but they probably disregarded him because he never has scored before.

Hobbs just returned to the 20. TV timeout.

Halftime in the New England @ Miami contest, Pats up 17-14. I should make a burger or something to eat, but there are dishes in the sink, and they are certainly not my responsibility. Random thoughts from the first half:

Good to see Randy Moss lowering his shoulder and running through the DB for a TD in the second quarter.

Wes Welker: at least 6 catches in every game this season. Every game! The little guy never seizes to amaze me.

Third down D gotta step up.
